About Us

Ballymoney Amateur Photographic Club was formed in the late 1980s and membership is open to all those with an interest in photography.

The club has a wide range of photographic experience among its membership; from complete beginners up to those with many years involvement in photography.

The activities of the club include hosting visiting speakers on different aspects and types of photography, practical evenings where members can get hands on experience of photographic techniques, and appraisal of the content and presentation of their photographs.
The more experienced members are always willing to share their knowledge and experience with those who have more recently taken an interest in photography.

The club meet from September through to May on the second and fourth Monday evenings in Ballymoney town hall (BT53 6BG) and the third Tuesday of the month in the Sandel centre (BT52 1WT) in the outskirts of Coleraine.

The club is a member of the Northern Ireland Photographic Association and take part in the NIPA annual league programme.
