About Us

Ballymoney Amateur Photographic Club was formed in the late 1980s and membership is open to all those with an interest in photography.
The club has a wide range of photographic experience among its membership; from complete beginners up to those with many years involvement in photography.
The activities of the club include hosting visiting speakers on different aspects and types of photography, practical evenings where members can get hands on experience of photographic techniques, and appraisal of the content and presentation of their photographs.
The more experienced members are always willing to share their knowledge and experience with those who have more recently taken an interest in photography.
The club meet from September through to May on alternating Monday and Tuesday evenings, Monday in Ballymoney and Tuesday in Coleraine.
Our club also organises an annual Print Exhibition held in Ballymoney Town Hall in the summer months. This gives members an opportunity to have their work put on public display.
The club is a member of the Northern Ireland Photographic Association and take part in the NIPA annual league programme.
